TVmaze metadata

A generated, attributed metadata overlay supplies bounded show identities, principal cast, creators, episode directors, episode writers, air dates, and runtime facts from TVmaze. That metadata is shared under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license. Watch Roulette’s editorial labels and local decision rules remain project-owned judgments.

Optional TMDB tooling

Developer-only review tooling can prepare optional TMDB candidates, but the public V3 artwork overlay uses TVmaze and public browser routes do not call either metadata API. If reviewed TMDB metadata is promoted later, this product is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Provider names and links remain hints; Watch Roulette does not claim current streaming availability.

Artwork and outbound destinations

Ordinary Web routes may render reviewed TVmaze poster, backdrop, and episode-still references from its external image host. The generated local treatment remains the loading, missing-image, failure, and offline fallback. Android may also display approved individual TVmaze show posters, with the same generated offline fallback. Show Pack covers always use generated color, glyph, and title treatments. Sharing, social composers, and provider destinations run only after an explicit user action and are governed by the destination’s own policies.
